Brittany Horton makes her way into the Squared Circle fresh off of the New Mexico regional scene. Fighting with mainly strikers in her previous bouts, she has gained some experience and knowledge of what it takes to compete in a brutal sport such as MMA, including a bout with former UFC fighter Jodie Esquibel. When she takes off the gloves, it will be interesting to see how she performs with other hungry prospects who want to claim their spot on the BKFC roster.
She trains out of Perez Fighting Systems ran by both Derek and Gene Perez who also compete in the BKFC. Derek Perez is also the husband of the strawweight.
Horton also holds an advantage over many of her strawweight peers with the fact that she has headlined a couple of cards in her past including in her fights with Natalie Roy and the previously mentioned Jodie Esquibel. Stay tuned to the career of a new potential strawweight contender!

Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
