Andrew Yates is an American kickboxer, mixed martial artist and boxer fighting for BKFC in the welterweight division. He made his debut in 2022 against Nolan Mclaughlin who he finished early in round one. He has a proven ability to finish a fight early or go the distance in dominant fashion as he did in his sophomore performance.
Yate’s power and cardio are a dangerous combination for most in the Squared Circle. He neared in on 400 strikes thrown, landing north of 70% in his decision win in the promotion and made it look fairly easy. His chin has been tested multiple times and he has passed those tests with flying colors. Even in his MMA days, Yates has never lost by T/KO and hasn’t ever really been in trouble on the feet. A wide majority of his MMA losses came via submission so he’s safe off of the ground.
Andrew Yates enjoys hunting and has a hunting dog that he’s trained to retrieve kills. His social media is flooded with successful hunt photos and a lot of outdoor shots showing Yates in his happy palace. He owns some livestock and looks to be as self sufficient as he can without having to rely on the system for food and livelihood.
Yates also does fight analysis for King of the Cage so you know he’s got a high level of game knowledge. He is a father to a young daughter and a husband. Family, Fighting and duck hunting are his favorite things, seemingly in that order.
