Freddy Sandoval jumps into the Squared Circle from the MMA world and has hit a rough patch before entering in. With zero fights in his 16-fight-career, he's got a style that is fit for five, two-minute rounds. The Albuquerque brawler has quick and powerful hands along with some solid pressure and at 5'10" he will be utilizing the clinch at middleweight quite often.
Sandoval promotes local business and especially gyms including Rough Rider Barbell Club where he trains folks of shapes and sizes to help his local community's health. As a personal trainer, he stays in good shape and one may assume, incorrectly, that he isn't dialed into his combat career, but those people would be sorely mistaken.
The rough patch previously referenced is due to the fact that Sandoval takes fights on short notice regularly. He isn't obsessed with a shiny record, and he's never pulled out of a fight. Something that can't be said about many in the fight game after 16 pro fights.
Being a true fighter's fighter and a man's man, Freddy Sandoval puts his kids above everything and holds family as a whole in the highest regard. After losing his mother, he shares with his own kids, the importance of life and reminds them that there are people watching over them from the other side while guiding them through their lives. Beside family, Sandoval stresses the importance of both mental and physical health. He is also a dog lover with a passion for pit bulls in particular.
