Justin Ibarrola Sanchez or Justin Ibarrola as he's better known, enters the Squared Circle from the world of traditional boxing. With a shiny combat sports record of 3-0, the Boca Raton-based striker eats, sleeps and breathes fighting. He is a private trainer at Delray Beach Boxing Club just north of where he stays, and he has the technical skills to show for it.
Breaking into the BKFC scene, he has put those technical abilities on display with unanimous wins over Gilberto Aguilar and Anthony Foye. Ibarrola has the cardio to comfortably go the distance and he seems to prefer doing so. With mostly decision wins to date, Ibarrola carefully selects power shots and has solid fundamentals. He sticks very well to a game plan.
Justin sees himself as the future of bare-knuckle fighting and isn't afraid to put this message out there. The kid talks his talk but more than backs it up and manages to stay extremely humble while exuding confidence.
His best friend and favorite training partner is his pit bull Creed, named after the spinoff of the Rocky film series. Look for patience and a masterclass of boxing fundamentals to be on display anytime Justin Ibarrola toes the line and all 135/145ers should be on notice as he looks to break into the rankings.
