Cameron ‘Jumpman’ VanCamp is a young bare-knuckle prospect fighting out of Indianapolis. He’s spent most of his combat sports career, dating back professionally to 2014 in MMA, fighting mostly for Colosseum Combat and Hardrock MMA. Both promotions are regional to the midwest and southern US respectively and both have decent levels of talent. VanCamp was a champion in B2 Fighting Series which encompasses various regional promotions and Colosseum Combat. 

After proving to be a formidable challenge to most he faced and showcasing his well roundedness, VanCamp was called up to the UFC where he went 0-2 against Andre Fialho and Nikolas Motta. Of course “Jumpman” faced some criticism for his high level losses but he never had an easy fight or even a favorable matchup in MMA’s highest profile promotion. Still, it was unfortunate for VanCamp to face two kill or be killed brawlers in the octagon as he had what seems in retrospect, a legitimate 50/50 chance of landing that fight ending punch. There is a legitimate case to be made that he got caught luckily by his opponents in both bouts.

VanCamp was called into the Squared Circle to fight an always tough Jeremie Holloway and fought tooth and nail with him to a five-round decision loss. He returns on the Manassas, Virginia Fight Night Prospects card to face Micah Terrill. Look for a calm confidence in VanCamp’s demeanor and in the Squared Circle he will utilize his reach and mix offensive and counter attacks. 

In his personal life, Cameron VanCamp loves to travel and has seen a good amount of the world. He says that learning about other cultures helps him develop as a person and fighter. He also has a great passion for the outdoors and considers himself a bigtime foodie with a love especially for street tacos.
