Bobby Taylor is a BKFC veteran that has fought a high level of competition within the promotion including James Lilley and Martin Trey Brown. He crossed over from the world of professional mixed martial arts where he holds 17 fights under his belt. On the feet, Taylor has always been a wrecking ball and someone who will go out on his shield should the fight not go his way.
He struggled on the ground in his MMA days but has built up a reputation of a dangerous knockout artist in the BKFC. Depending on what his opponent gives him, Taylor can be a solid counter striker, waiting to capitalize off of his opponent’s mistakes or he can bring the pressure to a more timid adversary and end the night quickly.
Fighting in one of the BKFC’s toughest divisions (155) and being ranked lets you know just how dangerous Taylor is when he toes the line. The Tennessee-based striker got his bare-knuckle feet wet at BKFC 11 back in 2020 where he defeated Louis Hernandez via split decision, and he’s kept his eyes on the lightweight title ever since.
