Brandon Shavers is a striker through and through stepping into the BKFC from a 5-5 pro MMA career, where nearly every win was by knockout and nearly every loss was by submission. It seems the word got out after going 4-0 with three round one KO’s, Shavers’ standup is not to be taken lightly. He hit a rough patch from 2017 to 2022 where his opponents opted out of a striking battle and took him to where he wasn’t as dominant. Lucky for BKFC fans, and unlucky for whoever he faces in the Squared Circle, grappling is off the table.
It would seem Shavers had broken his curse from the previous few years as he got a win over Nathan Mitchell and got back to his knockout ways, even carrying it back to the octagon for a single fight. He then faced the skyrocketing Bryce Henry where he fell short and now looks to see in which direction he will move after earning an even record.
The Louisiana-based “Shredder” as he’s known brings his A game every single time he fights and proudly represents the USA and his home state. In his off time, Shavers is an avid outdoorsman. He remains humble with his fighting career as any up-and-coming athlete should be, but when it comes to deer hunting, he feels there’s no need to stay quiet about his skills. He’s currently working on sharing more of his hunting content with YouTube and Instagram accounts called Quagmire Chase.
