Claudia ‘Phoenix’ Zamora is an American mixed martial artist with a record of 5-5 upon making her debut in the BKFC. She has held a belt back in her amateur days in the XFN which has helped a handful of MMA fighters get to the highest level of the sport. Most of her MMA fights have gone the distance which is pretty typical of female fighters but she can fight through serious adversity and still come out on top.
Zamora has a well-rounded game and it will be interesting to see how that translates to the BKFC where she has only two weapons, her left fist and her right fist. She made her debut at the BKFC’s biggest event in history against a veteran and a bare-knuckle exclusive fighter in the talented Crystal Pittman.
Claudia Zamora is very family oriented and trains along with her significant other, and children. They go to the gym together and get in some rolling and light sparring so it’s clear that she is training her next generation to learn the martial arts ways. Look forward to a quality competitor in Zamora.
Zamora is going to be one of the more gritty women in the organization that won’t go away after getting hurt once or twice like we have seen in the past from other fighters. Another thing to keep an eye on is Zamora’s physique. Her muscle mass and agility is going to make her very imposing in the Squared Circle.

Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
