Dameko Labon is an American boxer with a background in Taekwondo. He made his BKFC debut in dominant fashion against Justin Watson with a round one knockout after throwing just seven punches and landing just over half of those.
Being a Taekwondo black belt, Labon is able to find unorthodox angles from the outside and he looks to be all offense. He gets hit a lot but has a solid chin so he doesn’t get gun shy in the fire. Labon is very quick and uses that speed to stay at range and then spring into the pocket when least expected.
Labon is an entertainer and knows that he can win fights but realizes the importance of winning in spectacular fashion. He will always hunt for the knockout but he won’t be desperate and this is a quality trait to have for a young fighter with a title on his mind. As his competition level increases, expect to see new wrinkles in the bantamweight’s game!

Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
