Florida based Stephen 'Tomahawk' Townsel carries his Cherokee pride wherever he goes but especially when he enters the Squared Circle. With a warrior spirit and downright nasty hands, he's a kill or be killed brawler with all of his fights ending in a knockout whether he is the winner or not. Expect his fights to end early, having never seen the fifth round but don't let that lead you to believe his endurance isn't there. He's a personal trainer and striking coach at a couple of his local gyms so his fundamentals and cardio are solid.

He's fought a good level of competition and is looking to rise to the top of the heavier divisions having fought at heavyweight and cruiserweight for the BKFC. Being a southpaw, his left hand is his greatest asset and whether he is throwing overhands or hooks with it, they land with brutal power and damage his opponent early.

Despite his losses coming by way of T/KO, "Tomahawk" has a solid shin and has taken some of the best shots from the likes of Chris Sarro and Idris Wasi. He will continue to stand back up if knocked down until his body physically won't allow him to as he showed in his Wasi match.

Along with being a proud Native American and native to Miami, Townsel is a girl dad who prides himself in the father he is to them. You're likely to catch Stephen at the gym coaching, on the beach soaking up the sun or sharing motivational messages on his social media.
