Steve ‘Panda’ Banks is a high level Muay Thai striker with quite the track record in the martial art. Banks became the WBC world champion in 2017 and holds a plethora of accolades outside of that. He is no doubt one of the greatest representations of American Muay Thai and his style allows him to thrive in the BKFC.
*The only professional bare-knuckle loss that ‘Panda’ has to this point is to the heavyweight champion, Mick Terrill. He chooses his shots extremely well and uses great muay thai footwork to keep his opponent thrown off. He’s highly accurate usually landing north of 60% of his strikes from distance but he’s also dangerous in the clinch.
Banks loves his dogs like family and treats them as such. When he’s not in the gym, he’s spending time with them. He was born in North Carolina but fights out of and represents the motherland of Muay Thai.
