Rick Caruso takes his career one fight at a time.
The Princeton, WV fighter is coming off his first BKFC victory and will be hunting for his second straight KO on Friday at BKFC 62. But he says it’ll just be business as usual when he steps into the Squared Circle looking to extend his winning streak on Friday, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App.
“This is just the same as any other fight; one don’t bleed into the next,” Caruso says ahead of his bantamweight showdown with Justin Ibarrola (3-0) at the legendary Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL.
“This is just another day at the office, and hopefully we can keep moving up the rankings.”
Caruso respects his opponent, but he’ll be gunning for the knockout on Friday – “in whichever round Ibarrola decides to give up,” Caruso offers.
Ideally, Caruso says, he’ll win Friday and earn a rematch with Ryan Reber, who’s now the No. 1 contender in the stacked BKFC bantamweight division.
But, true to form, he’s just rolling with the punches.
“I’m a company man. I never say no to a fight; I don’t care,” he says with a laugh. “As I’ve been quoted a million times, I just love to (expletive) fight.”
