Brandon Meyer says one thing is clear after his victory at BKFC Fight Night Miami.
“The sky’s the limit,” he says when asked for his biggest takeaway from his weekend win over Famez at the sold-out Vivo! Dolphin Mall in Miami.
“My potential is unlimited.”
The Council Bluffs, IA product underwent major hip surgery last year and has been working tirelessly to return to the BKFC win column. Friday’s victory over Famez, who brought a two-fight winning streak into fight night, proved that Meyer belongs at the top of the BKFC roster.
But Meyer doesn’t just want to belong – he wants to continue thriving. He wants to return to the Squared Circle as soon as possible and strike while the iron’s hot. He sees the belt in his future, but he’s also not in a rush.
“With this being my first fight back after my surgery and my loss, it’s an awesome win – but this is just the beginning,” he says.
“I’d love to fight whoever they have for me, whoever gets me closer to the belt. It could be anybody. I'm ready for anything.”
