Brett Fields says the judges won’t be necessary when he returns to the Squared Circle on Friday at BKFC Fight Night Pechanga.
Fields doesn’t get paid by the hour with BKFC, so he’s always looking to finish the job as quickly as possible. This week’s middleweight showdown with Luis Villasenor in Temecula, CA, which airs LIVE globally on The BKFC App, will be no exception.
“I plan on making short work of my next opponent – that’s my plan for all of my fights with BKFC,” says Fields, who’s riding high from his first-round stoppage victory over Kaine Tomlinson Sr. at BKFC 51 in September.
“I want to put my opponents away as quickly and efficiently as possible. That’s always been my philosophy.”
Fields doesn’t have concrete goals that are set in stone when it comes to his combat career. He’s pleased with what he’s already accomplished, but he knows that more good things will happen if he keeps on stacking knockout victories in the Squared Circle.
“I never do things small, so I’m looking to do something big with my fighting career, and I don’t see any end in sight,” he says.
“A lot of my opponents will have youth on their side, but I’ve got the experience. Years and years of bare knuckle brawling has put me in this position to succeed in the Squared Circle.”
