Christine "La Abusadora" Vicens is 3-for-3 when she steps into the BKFC Squared Circle.
On Friday at the sold-out Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, the hard-hitting Miami fighter improved to 3-0 in her blossoming bare knuckle career with a first-round TKO over Melanie Shah.
Vicens is humble in victory, but it’s undeniable that 3-0 is an important milestone in the world of BKFC.
“I think 3-0 does put me in a spot where people start to notice me and see me as a top contender,” Vicens says.
The journalists who vote on the BKFC Media Rankings panel have certainly taken notice. Vicens is the No. 2 contender in the BKFC women’s flyweight division.
It hasn’t taken Vicens long to establish herself in the world of bare knuckle, but she isn’t necessarily in a rush to get her shot at the BKFC World Women’s Flyweight Championship, which is currently held by Christine Ferea.
“I’m ready for the title shot, but I also wouldn’t mind another fight before then just to be active and get more experience,” she says.
“But I do see the title shot coming, and I’m ready for it.”
