Stanislav Grosu had fun fighting on Friday night.
He said that would be a key to victory in his showdown with the previously unbeaten Alonzo Martinez at BKFC Fight Night Omaha on Friday in Omaha, NE. Sure enough, he had a blast and earned his fourth victory in the Squared Circle.
“I told you I was going to have fun,” Grosu says with a big smile. “I knew that if I could fight my fight and do what I do best, I was going to have some fun.”
The fun-loving Grosu has now won three of his last four in the Squared Circle. With his confidence at an all-time high, the Moldovan-born Sterling, VA fighter is ready for anybody – including BKFC World Middleweight Champion David “Redneck” Mundell.
“I know I don’t have the best record at this point, I know I’ve got some losses, but I’m the man to beat Mundell. This sport isn’t about who has the best record – it’s about who’s the best fighter when it’s time to fight, and I’m the best fighter in the division,” Grosu says.
“I’m not a boxer; I’m a fighter.”
