Not all fighters are built for BKFC, but Hasan Alghanim feels right at home in the Squared Circle.
“One-hundred percent,” Alghanim says when asked if he deserves a multi-fight contract with BKFC.
“It’s not up to me to decide how anyone else feels, but I definitely feel that I belong on the BKFC roster, and I just want more opportunities to continue to prove that.”
The 29-year-old Edmonton lightweight is still buzzing from Saturday, when he scored a second-round KO over Dalton Shtybel in his bare knuckle fighting debut at BKFC Prospect Series at the sold-out River Cree Resort & Casino.
Alghanim had envisioned his debut countless times in his mind, and his manifestations turned to reality in the Squared Circle.
“I still can’t believe that’s how it went,” he says.
“It feels surreal because it was everything that I envisioned. I had dreams of having a debut like that, and it went down exactly as I had hoped it would.”
Alghanim feels his future is bright at BKFC.
“The sky's the limit, really,” he says.
“The organization is growing so quickly and there are so many great opportunities. I’m just excited to see where this road takes me.”
