April 12 can’t come soon enough for Jay “Action” Jackson.
That night, under the bright lights at BKFC Fight Night Clearwater, Jackson will step into the Squared Circle for the seventh time in a hotly anticipated middleweight matchup against Idrees Wasi, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App from Bert's Barracuda Harley-Davidson.
“I’m so excited, man. I’m just amped,” Jackson says.
“I’ve been training so hard for this fight, and I just can’t wait to get in there. When you work as hard as I’ve been working, the fight is the easy part, so it’s going to be fun.”
Jackson will be hunting for his fourth stoppage victory under the BKFC banner when he meets Wasi in Clearwater. If all goes according to his ambitions – which he admits are a tad farfetched – he’ll be ready for a quick turnaround after Clearwater and land a short-notice spot on KnuckleMania 4, which goes down April 27 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
“I’ve done it before, so it’s always a possibility,” Jackson says with a smile. “There’s always that possibility, but I’m definitely not looking past Clearwater. One step at a time.”
