Joseph “Dark Knight” Creer has now stopped back-to-back opponents in the BKFC Squared Circle.
“I feel good. I’m happy with my effort, and I’m happy with the outcome,” says Creer, who upped his BKFC record to 2-1 on Friday with a second-round TKO victory over hometown fighter Daniel Mitchell in Denver.
Creer logged four knockdowns on Friday at the sold-out National Western Center, so he’s eager to keep the good times rolling with a quick turnaround in the Squared Circle.
Prior to transitioning to bare knuckle fighting, the Columbus, GA product boasted a 7-2-1 record as a professional mixed martial artist, including three matchups under the Bellator MMA banner.
He admits that he might be further along in his combat career if he was more willing to call out opponents and ruffle more feathers, but that just isn’t his style.
“That’s not me. I’m silent, and then I go in and get the job done,” Creer says.
“My goal is to get the title at 185 pounds,” he adds when asked about his goals with BKFC. “I don’t turn fights down. I’ll fight anybody they put in front of me. I’m past the stage of being worried about other people. I’m just enjoying the ride and trying to finish my story.”
