Marc Entenberg doesn’t take the fans for granted.
When he steps into the BKFC Squared Circle, he isn’t there just to add a notch to his win column.
“Putting on a killer performance is the most important thing to me,” Entenberg says ahead of his featherweight clash with Van Vo on Friday at BKFC 59 at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, NM, LIVE on The BKFC App.
“Winning is hugely important, of course, but I want to be a part of the Fight of the Night. I want the fans to be on their feet, I want the noise to be deafening, and I want to give the fans something that they’re going to remember for a long, long time.”
As the head coach and founder of the bustling Kingdom Muay Thai academy in ABQ, Entenberg is also eager to lead his students by example.
Coaching is one of Entenberg’s joys in life, and it also aids him in his own fighting career.
“Being a coach is almost like being a parent. You’ve got so many responsibilities, one of which is always setting a positive example,” he says.
“It’s made me hold myself even more accountable, and it really gives me an extra push.”
