Mike "The Lone Wolf" Trizano is dropping his gloves.
The UFC vet, and former winner of the UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter tournament, makes his bare knuckle fighting debut Saturday at BKFC 61 at the iconic Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App.
“Fighting for BKFC really excites me – it kind of lit a fire under me,” the 32-year-old Ramsey, NJ product says. “I’ve got very crisp boxing, so I think this is right in my wheelhouse.”
Trizano is jumping right into the deep end – his opponent Saturday is former BKFC World Featherweight Championship challenger Louis Lopez. The fan-favorite Lopez is hunting for his fourth stoppage victory in the Squared Circle, but that only seems to further excite Trizano.
“He does have more bare knuckle experience, for sure, but I’ve got plenty of experience in combat sports. I’ve had lots of cage time at the highest level – UFC and Bellator – and I’m excited to test myself on Saturday,” Trizano says.
“I’m ready to go.”
