Two punches and six seconds.
That’s all Ruben Warr needed to take out Robbie Peralta in the Main Event of BKFC Fight Night Pechanga on Friday – good for the third fastest finish in BKFC history.
“I didn’t think I was going to end it with the first punch, but I visualized landing that combo this whole entire camp. We worked that combo the whole entire camp, and it just landed perfectly,” the hard-hitting Louisville, KY product says.
“I don’t think it gets any better than that. I was 2-for-2 in the whole fight – that’s perfect for me, and I’ll take it.”
Warr improved to 2-0, 1 NC with the victory. He believes his lightning-fast finish sent shockwaves through the stacked BKFC lightweight division.
Now, he has a simple message for his 155-pound counterparts.
“Stop running from me,” he says.
“Tell Bobby Taylor to stop running from me. Tell James Lilley to stop running from me. I’d love to fight either of those guys at BKFC Spain.”
