“Royal” Ryan Reber has had his share of memorable nights as a patron of the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT.
“Too many amazing times to remember,” he says with a laugh.
But on May 11, the proud New London, CT product is ready to have his best night yet at the legendary casino – this time as a performer in BKFC’s hugely anticipated New England debut at Mohegan Sun.
Reber is in a position to represent both where he comes from, and the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion, at BKFC 61 – and he doesn’t take this opportunity for granted.
“I was pushing really, really hard to get the title shot, but this opportunity (to represent BKFC and Connecticut) means absolutely everything to me,” Reber says.
“This is a huge moment for my career, the company, and the region.”
The undefeated Reber is looking to improve to 6-0 with a fifth stoppage victory over Quintan Foye (1-0). Reber is known as one of the most exciting bare knuckle fighters on the planet, and he wants to help BKFC make a first impression for the ages at Mohegan Sun.
“I hit (expletive) hard. Everybody that I’ve fought, I’ve hurt badly – and I want to keep that trend going,” he says.
“Calculated chaos.”
