Hollywood, FL (June 13, 2024) Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion, has announced a Tremendous Nine-Fight Undercard to the rapidly selling BKFC-62 World Title Tripleheader on Friday, June 21 at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL.

 

Headlining the undercard in the bantamweight division, #3 Ranked Justin ‘Joy Boy’ Ibarrola, (3-0), of Boca Raton, FL battles ‘Slick’ Rick Caruso, (1-3), of Burlington, NC. The 26-year-old Ibarrola returns to action following a show-stopping first round knockout of Landon Williams at BKFC-57 on February 2, 2024. Caruso challenges Ibarrola also coming off a first-round victory over Landon Williams at BKFC-51 on September 29, 2023.

 

Fighting in a women’s flyweight matchup, #3 Ranked Christine ‘La Abusadora’, Vicens, (2-0), of Miami, FL faces off against #2 Ranked Melanie Shah, (2-1), of the United Kingdom. Vicens last saw action at BKFC-34 with a decision victory over Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger on December 3, 2022. She also holds a third-round knockout of Jade Masson-Wong at KnuckleMania II. Shah seeks a return to a world title opportunity having lost a hotly contested decision to Britain Hart on September 23, 2023 at BKFC-51. The road warrior also holds decision victories over Sydney Smith (BKFC-48) and Mathilda Wilson (BKFC Fight Night Newcastle.)

 

Gee ‘The Cutman’ Perez, (3-1), of Plant City, FL clashes with Phoenix, AZ native, Albert ‘Trill Fight’ Inclan, (1-2) in a flyweight bout. The popular Perez looks to bounce back into the win column following a highly anticipated fight with Bryce Hall at BKFC-48 on August 11, 2023. The fight was stopped in the second round when Perez suffered an arm injury and was unable to continue. Inclan also seeks a return to the win column after a tightly scored majority decision loss to Chris Garcia at BKFC-57.

 

In the bantamweight division, #4 Ranked Chris ‘Dynamite’ Garcia, (3-0), of Clewiston, FL battles ‘Savage’ Mike Livingston, (0-1), of St. Louis, MO. Fighting in the featherweight division, Edgard ‘The Dream Killer’ Plazaola, (2-0), faces Eric ‘Thuggy Bear’ Dodson, (3-1), brother of BKFC Flyweight World Champion John Dodson.

 

Rounding out the main card, with comparisons to boxing legend Mike Tyson, must-see heavyweight Leonardo ‘El Zombo’ Perdomo, (3-0) battles veteran Leo ‘Bushido’ Bercier, (4-1).

 

Headlining the prelims, welterweight Peter Peraza, (1-0), faces Wayna ‘The Rated R Superstar’ Reid, (1-1). Also fighting in the welterweight division, Yosdenis ‘The Pink Panther’ Cedeno, (2-1), faces BKFC debuting Josh Zuckerman. Opening BKFC-62, light heavyweight Markus Suarez, (1-1), battles David Simpson, (1-3).

 

BKFC-62 is headlined by a BKFC World Title Tripleheader. BKFC Featherweight Champion Kai ‘Hefty Bag’ Stewart, (5-0), will defend his world title against #2 Ranked Challenger Bryan ‘El Gallo’ Duran, (6-0). BKFC Bantamweight Champion Keith ‘The Rockstar’ Richardson, (4-0), makes his first world title defense against Alberto ‘El Indio’ Blas, (4-0). Fighting for the vacant BKFC Light Heavyweight World Title, #1 Ranked Jared ‘Captain Deadpool’ Warren, (6-2) battles #2 Ranked JoMi ‘The Archangel’ Escoboza, (9-1).
