Zach Calmus is feeling good.
After recently marrying the love of his life, the heavy-handed New England product will return to the BKFC Squared Circle on Friday. He takes on Josh Freeman in heavyweight action, LIVE on The BKFC App from the Salisbury Center in Manassas, VA.
“I couldn’t be happier,” Calmus says.
“This fight is going to be great. I’ve been training really hard, I got married, and I’m just focused on putting on an amazing performance.”
Calmus is looking to up his BKFC record to 3-2 with a second straight stoppage victory. An impressive performance on Friday could propel “Shark Attack” into the Top 5 BKFC heavyweight rankings, but he isn’t concerned about that. He just wants to put on exciting fights for the fans, and everything else will work itself out.
“I’m just going with the flow of life,” he says. “Whatever Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has laid down for Zach Calmus, that’s the road that I’m walking down.
“I’d fight anybody in the world right now,” the Boston big man adds. “Win, lose or draw, I’m just coming to put on a great show for the fans.”
