Ja’Far Fortt ‘Knox’ enters the BKFC from mixed martial arts but he’s really found his sport in bare-knuckle. He made his debut at BKFC 32 in Orlando where he faced and defeated Chris Cornelius where he absorbed zero strikes. He’s looked levels ahead of his competition three fights into his new career.
Fortt likes to use his aggression to get his hand raised in fights but he is low volume with above average accuracy. You won’t see him carelessly swam his opponent throwing 1,000 punches. Fort sets up his finishes and fights using his head as much as his fists. He’s said that every punch he throws, he’s throwing at 100% so there is no room for 200 attempts over 10 minutes. We may never see him throw even over 100 strikes but that remains to be seen.
You will see Fortt ‘Knox’ use his long jab in textbook fashion, you’ll see A1 footwork to create awkward punching angles and you’ll see big power for his class. Despite the low volume, expect a finish when the Connecticut-born, Tampa-based striker toes the line.
